Our ceremony was officiated by Reverend Charles Ho and Deacon Chet Jakowski. Reverend Ho is a retired American Baptist minister from Brookfield, Wisconsin. Reverend Ho and his family are very close friends of John's family. Reverend Ho was the minister of John's church when growing up in Wisconsin. Reverend Ho and his family are part of John's earliest childhood memories.    Chet Jakowski is a Catholic deacon at Maria's church in Baltimore. He also led the pre-marriage classes that we attended, so we had a chance to get to know him before the ceremony. We were lucky in that both of us knew both officiants of our ceremony.
