Norway's mountainous terrain is difficult to traverse. Getting from Oslo to Geiranger, our second destination, involved a flight to the coastal town Ålesund, a bus to the fjord town Hellesylt, and finally a ferry to Geiranger, literally a journey by air, land, and sea. The bus ride itself included a fjord crossing by ferry.
