Norway is a coastal country that faces the Norwegian Sea above the North Atlantic Ocean. Norway's north-south length is roughly the same as the western coast of the US, but it is much farther north: about half of the length is within the Arctic Circle. Our destinations were the capital Oslo (red), fjord village Geiranger (green), and coastal fishing town Ålesund (blue). (Custom map made in Google Maps.)
