From Baltimore, we flew to Atlanta to connect with a flight to Johannesburg, with intermediate stops in Cape Verde (islands off the coast of western Africa) and Cape Town. Shown here is all that we saw of Cape Verde. Between Atlanta and Johannesburg, we were in the airplane for 20 straight hours because passengers were not allowed to deplane until reaching their final destination.
