Italians are passionate about soccer. We stayed with friends near Milan who are fans of Internazionale Milano ("Inter" to soccer cognoscenti), one of Milan's two major soccer teams. Mark became an honorary fan by association. Official European soccer jerseys display the logos of sponsors more prominently than the team logo itself (near left shoulder).
