When possible, we like to travel independent of a tour group in order to have a less insulated experience. But some compromises are necessary when it comes to luggage: we limited ourselves to two suitcases for the three of us so that we could get around easily by public transportation. Another limitation: we are wearing the same clothes in many photos from the trip!
